About me
I am a young researcher interested in the study of population genetics and evolution of species, specially in human evolution. Recently I started my PhD at the University of Vigo, joining to the Phylogenomics Lab, which turned out to be a great opportunity to improve my knowledge in the field of species and molecular evolution, and acquire new technical skills.
Currently I am interested on current genetic diversity data and how it reveals the past history of current populations. I am investing on Bioinformatics tools which may allow me to answer to remaining questions (e.g., Approximate Bayesian Computation).
When we understand the past, the future becomes clearer.
